The Russian creative Union of cultural workers

All-Russian public organization "Russian creative Union of cultural workers" was created on 23 Oct 1990 at the constituent Congress in Leningrad. The Union seeks to protect the interests of creators of libraries, houses of culture, clubs, parks, museums, cinemas, entertainment venues, public events and festivals, educational institutions, culture, excursions, arts and crafts, restoration and jewelry, as well as organizations of folk art and socio-cultural activities, regardless of their departmental and industry sector.
The Union has a nationwide status and carries out its activity on the territory of more than half of subjects of Federation in close contact with the bodies of state power and administration, other creative organisations, interacts with public associations, foundations, businesses and other organizations.
